I stayed at a waterfront property, reserving the least expensive room...one I was told had a courtyard view...
Thank you, RiverPlace, for the lovely surprise...a corner room with expansive perspectives of both water and land...and sash windows that opened fully...letting in the crisp, enlivening air...and making it so I didn't need that pesky polarizing filter (the one I had left at home) to minimize any glare...
My temporary visit has become a promise to return soon...
